Board Certified in both Otolarygnology (ENT Surgery) and Sleep Medicine, Dr. McKinlay will provide a comprehensive spectrum of services for all patients with conditions of the ear, nose, and throat in the San Antonio community.  This includes advanced care in diagnostics and management of all sleep disorders but a focus on Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).  Dr. McKinlay can order and interpret sleep studies, the vast majority of which will be Home Sleep Tests.  With these devices, patients can be reliably screened for OSA in the comforts of their own homes.  Dr. McKinlay offers in-office procedures targeted at snoring, nasal obstruction, and sinus congestion. 

He also provides full spectrum surgical services encompassing all otolaryngology procedures involving the nasal and upper airways (septoplasty, turbinate reduction, functional rhinoplasty, tonsillectomy, various forms of palate surgery), the sinuses (balloon sinuplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery), the ear (tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy), and the neck (congenital mass resection, thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, neck dissection, etc.).  He is also able to provide specialized surgical care for Obstructive Sleep Apnea including Upper Airway Stimulation / the “Inspire” procedure, a novel technique currently in high demand in San Antonio.
